Engine warning when hard highway acceleration

I've noticed when really getting on it at around 65mph the engine light will flash and will not allow the car to go any faster. There is major pulsing in the front end, let off the gas and it resets after about 15 seconds, any clue?

Let’s guess. It’s more fun. I’m going to guess there is a duck under your hood that is purposely slowing you down.
