Engine Replacement

Ive been told by several people that the 3.2 ATX motor has to come out the bottom of the car is there any truth to this bc im fixing to attempt to do this job with 4 of my friends in a storage lot i rented just for the reason

What happened?

The engine can come out the top, but the engine & trans combo has to go out the bottom. Last time I tried the 95 ATX out through the top I couldn't see how I could get the sucker up cleanly.

What happened?

my oil pump seized im guessing the idiot light came on it started clanking then it stopped and wouldnt turn back over.the guy at work said he saw it smoking.thats great would of been better had he told me that before i left
