I have never heard of that. I personally use Mobile 1 5W- 30 with a Mobile 1 filter and it does the job.

No clue, but if you give it a try and want to see how it performs, you can send a sample to Blackstone Labs for less than $30 and get a report on how well it holds up in your vehicle.
