Hey all,

My friend's '89 SHO has been down for a month..

He broke his halfshaft carrier bearing, and he cannot find a replacement part..

I am not sure if that name is the correct name of the part, but it is that shaft that connects the transmission to the passenger side CV shaft..

Where could I find one this week, and for how much?

I went thru the same thing this summer.The bearing freezes and rips out the bushing.I called Ford Customer Service and the gave me some places to call.It was a long process,and i even got the wrong part 1 time.Let me know if you don`t come up with anything,and i`ll go thru my notes.The part is Obsolete.

OOPs! I thought you meant the halfshaft. The carrierbearing is obsolete. I remember Jeremy sayiong that. Sorry for the mix up.
