electrical problems

ok my rear windows stopped working a while ago i doubt the motor is gone, on my speedo 1/2 of the numbers do not light up, where my shifter is the p r n d etc. wont light up but the other day they came on then went off again and then the other day when it was like below 0 my power door locks stopped working any ideas....i am not real good with electrical and dont know where to begin thanks

For the power windows and locks... it sounds like your switches are unplugged, or the connector in the drivers door is corroded. Take those switches out and clean up the connectors on it. They are reverse polarity, which in short means if one connector or switch is unplugged or otherwise not connected, they won't work.

As for the dash lights.. sounds like a loose bulb like I had in my '89 SLO. take it apart and change out the bulbs and see where u are.

Don't worry about the doorlocks, they can get stiff as **** is this cold weather. Should start working again if the car warms up. The solenoids get gummed up.
