egr not opening?

I checked my codes today and it came up with code 332 ( EGR did not open/respond during test or if memory code, did not open intermittantly)on both koeo and koer tests. my car runs great but that dang CE light is BRIGHT. Also the code 632 was on the koer, but i have noticed my o/d lockout doesnt work, and its always in o/d what can i do to fix these?

you all might laugh at me, but what is the EGR, what does it do, and wheres it at?

The EGR valve recycles the exhaust and burns it again. Could it stand for Exhaust Gas Reburn??
It is located at the top right corner of the intake manifold. It looks like a space ship.

ok i see where it is, now what to do about it? replace it or just do something with it on my 120k comin up? and what about that o/d lockout, i want to turn it off sometimes.......

is the EGR doing anything to performance? if so id like it to get back to normal.

2) The OD switch's wires often get damaged either in the shifter handle or in the console. This article will tell you how to pull the shifter ****.

ok i got the o/d switch fixed it wasnt pluged into the harness for it, but now my shifter handle twists a little bit, any clue how to keep it still?
