ecu and ccrm wiring question

okay heres the deal, i have a 95 3.0 sho and needed to replace the ccrm and ecu, i got both out of a 90 sho... can i just plug them in or do i have to cut & splice the wires in the harness. i checked my wire whip for the ccrm against the wiring diagram for the 90 and the colors dont match up, also from what i can see on the 95 diagram there seems to be connection differences... is this just because of different options packages or am i in for a long night of wire tracing and splitting?

If you don't have the schematics and a good understanding of what is going on, you're asking for a pretty big dose of problems.
