Back story,
Had most of this/these mods on My 2011 Flex - others posts about that car... but switching from that ride into a 2013 Exploder. So major updates in the way of ECU abilities..

Exploder got a built engine (other posts) but lots of stuff got swapped over, and never had an issue with the 420/430 codes on the old set up.

PPE Catted downpipes installed from the flex and 4 new o2 sensors
reviewed for cracks etc, have not watched them in action as of yet, Build and driving - all of 150 miles on this setup

question for the 2013+ is this ecu that uptight?

Do I need to add defoulers?

I've seen other catted downpipes with them... fairly normal on this?

Not a direct answer but my post cat are tuned out for that reason, to avoid the issues and running mini cat spacers. Though in FL I can get away with it.

Can't say if the newer system is more sensitive though always questioned why we had an unmonitored post cat. As a part of the noise tuning of the resonator? Or Ford making sure it passed emissions. Not to hijack your question.

Who are you using for tuning?
