Sorry in advance for being dumb...so, do I need to get 16+ OE timing equipment or will it interface with the rest of my 13 equipment I order; leaving only the two 16+ pulley and crank to work with the 16+ raptor crank?

Or, am I completely dense and your build sheet is for a gen2 motor?

You just need the appropriate items listed above and you can use the oem timing equipment from any year. Basically the snout on the crank is different requiring a different height timing sprocket that has the same amount of teeth as the lower year ones. Basically it's just the spacing is slightly different so those pieces compensate for the spacing difference and everything else fits as normal.

Definitely something I had to sort out on my own lol. None of the people who have done this wanted to share their trade secrets, rightfully so, but it was just piecing together OEM parts with my local parts buddy until we figured out the right combo.

And the RAPTAURUS LIVES!!!!
That's some funny stuff right there!!!

You know, I guess I disagree to a point because when I think of people sharing trade secrets it just turns me away from their business because the rest of their work and contribution to the trade should make them stand out enough to be successful. But, I know it's a cutthroat world up in this pig, LOL.

I just want to go reasonably fast with a thicc ass car! Is that so much to ask

Thanks so much for your help @Jordan_R
Not sure what you drink but I owe you!

I'm REALLY getting amped up for this build!

I just want the entire platform to progress so I have never been into any secrets other than my car's curb weight. Always been 100% about all modifications I do and the benefit they can provide. It's not my business to make money with this platform other than the ad revenue off youtube which isn't much at this rate. Thankfully, I am fortunate enough to have several sponsors come up to the plate and allow me to still dump money into this car... Just at a reduced rate I guess LOL

This thread could become a great guide for others to follow. I suggest you add these "tips" and the other parts you've mentioned to post #1.

I 100% agree and when I finish up I would like to add to it with some random parts. Silly things that I plan on adding like sourcing ARP hardware if desired and some other tasca stuff like manifold studs and nuts.

Because it technically isn't compatible with 13 SHO because the SHO itself went under these same changes in 16+ so if you were to try to use any of these 16+ parts on your 13 other components would not be compatible. i.e. 16+ stuff can't bolt with the 13 stuff you already have so you need to get all the pieces to the puzzle on the 16+ stuff
Thought changes were done on the 14+ cuz I’m thinking of rebuilding my motor

@Jordan_R Did you use the new supplied crank bolts with your new engine or go aftermarket?
I'm having terrible time sourcing the "right" bolts or questioning if I even need them.

I had plans to use oem ones and even first start in February was using oem ones but while I had the engine back out I went to ARP main studs while I was at it. Oem ones were not a worry for me at all.

Do you happen to have part numbers?
I'm having a hard time getting to be comfortable knowing everything in my rotating assembly isn't ARP if it could be...
