My driver's side fog lamp explodes inside the housing. Anybody else have this problem? I just replaced the bulb two weeks ago and now it's toast again! Any ideas?

I tried calk on my ATX fogs. It held for a little while but then cracked again in a different spot. IMO, there's no sense in fixing old crusty foglights if a comparable brand new pair costs only 30 bucks. Chances are the stock lenses are all foggy and look like crap. Jsut suck up the 30 beans and get some new ones.dkautumna:
I remember my 93 did the same thing. I caulked all around the housing to keep water from getting in. It worked.
I did the same using a silicone sealer. The sealer was clear and was designed to withstand extreme temperatures. The fog lights held together worked perfectly for the past four years right up until I got into and accident and shattered both lamps three months ago. squintdkautumna:
