I have been tossing around the idea of installing down pipes on my 2016 sho.. The questions I have
can I run with stock exhaust back and are the gains worth the price.. I see they say 15 to 20 hp.. Any
real info on your gains would be appreciated... I am tuned by lms and its a non pp..
Thanks..

Yes, stock exhaust is perfectly fine with aftermarket down pipes. A lot of guys run that setup because they don't want the aftermarket exhaust sound...

Running pretty much stock cat back on my 2013, its actually the complete system off my 2012. I have the 3rd cat delete and Dynomax mufflers.

Thanks for the reply's.. I'm looking for every 10th when I go to the track without taking away the DD duties.. Nothing
like jumping in your DD going to the track and having fun..

Both the 2012 and 2013 saw a full season of racing, but understand. Tune will help to with exhaust tone. When I brought home my 2013 home with the 2012 exhaust including the DP’s, it sounded horrible, especially the rasp, still was on stock tune file.

I just put downpipes on 2 or 3 weeks ago, the rest of my exhaust is stock. Sound wise, I don't notice a difference at all. If you do them yourself, make sure you have PB Blast, it makes a world of difference.

dynos are showing a 1-2 HP reduction for having high flow cats vs non-catted... not worth getting caught with without cats for very little difference in power..

I am going with catless. I am not going to pay 20% more for less power.

I went catless. No smell or anything. Huge pain in the ass to install. Picked up about .15-.2 tenths in the quarter. I'd go meth before the dps.

I would do the catted version.. Did you pick up almost 2 tenths or 2 hundreds? If its two hundreds not worth it..
