There was consensus that that vert should be LeMons car. It just needs a few little things, like a drivetrain and stuff.

so, when are you planning on swapping in an ecoboost?

I have carefully studdied the Dooley and have come to the conclusion that the Dooley is ecoboost compatible.

Nick was sidetracked for a while with a little Ranger that he swapped an XR4Ti 2.3 into and I think he bought another Subaru WRX STi.

Chuck, are those double adjustable upper control arms I spy there? Are you running spherical bushings? I am in my lowers. Not as noisy as I thought they would be and worth every penny:)

I missed it because it was Tractor Day at Saguaro Ranch Park. But I missed that because I had the flu. I drug my butt out Sunday so my kids wouldn't miss Tractor Day then 3 of the 4 boys, my wife and I spent the next 6 days with the flu. It was splendid.

I have decided, I do not like the flu.

Advanced Metal Sales at 27th Ave and Deer Valley Rd (hidden next to the Cracker Barrel Restaurant) has a lot of those.

I am running the extreme duty lower control arms from maximum motorsports. They are in San Louis Obispo California. There are people on the web that will sell them a little cheaper MMX does. I have the ones set up for adjusting the ride height. They are built like a brick poophouse.

This is what I have: http://www.lastcallracing.com/mm-mmrlca-32.html

I didn't get them here but that is about what I paid.

They are cheaper if you don't get the adjustable ride height.

The reason I went with these and not the ones with just the heim joints at the end (like upr) is because these bushings are huge compared to what you get with a heim joint and they have steel around them where the other design just has the aluminum around the spherical part.

I would hate to have a heim joint failure while throwing a ton of power at it.

I am not making a ton of power now but my goal is to install a 408 LSX. I only want to buy suspension parts once so that is why i went with what I did.

P.S. the bushings in these arms are replaceable. They are held in with a circlip and can be replaced eisly if need be.

I got Lakewood lowers. Lakewood 90/10s and 50/50 shocks. HPM caster camber plates, UPR coil over kit. MM tubular k member and a-arms. The car is jumbled with used parts that were never installed. I bet I have saved more than half just keeping my eye out for deals.
