Over the last 2 weeks I've had more and more people stop to ask me about my SHO and the "wow, that's the new Taurus" chats.

It's happened at stoplights, parking lots, at the car wash, even parking attendants...the other night when I was in NYC, it happened 5 times in one night...

Anyone else getting asked a lot to discuss the car?

people just tell me to paint mine... or at least wash it.

I saw one of the cinnamon dark red colored ones, gawd that color looks good. i chased her down but i got caught by a light and i probably scared the bejeesus out of her in my 1/2 ton 4x4 'been through war' pick up barreling along trying to catch up.

Yea, the kids at two different car washes were all geeked to see the SHO and asked a hundred questions about it. Then they proceeded to give the shobaby some extra lovin', and got her all **** and span. Clean Tuxedo Black on a sunny day is a thing of beauty.

Ford is spending some big bucks on the SHO for ads, have seen them on many channels including ESPN. I think they want to sell as many of them as possible before gas hits $4.00 per gallon this summer.......

I get a comment almost every time I get gas. The UPS guy stopped and gave it a good looksie... he usually won't stop to save someone with a heart attack. I'm surprised that every single person knows about the SHO and wants to talk about it.

You are right. There are many people who wouldn't call 9-1-1 to help someone having a heart attack, but they stop to ask about the SHO. I've had plenty of looks and questions.

A couple of state troopers in Illinois asked me about it when I stopped at a Culvers for something to eat on a long road trip to Colorado. They said they would like to see the Taurus as the police interceptor. I wouldn't tell them how fast I've gone in it, but I told them I made sure there was no one in sight when I hammered it. Obviously they weren't around when I did it.

All the new SHO owners are liking the attention....Its good that people are noticing it.

I get alot of stares in my "old" sho. Had a couple "non-car" people think it was a new(er) car. I love the WTF glance and then the puzzled look. Esp after a little fun with some expensive cars.

Went to the local hardware store today and when i walked up to the door a guy opened up the door for me. He was standing there with two girls and said they were looking at the car when i pulled up and wanted to know if i would take them out to look the car over.
