Dome Light Clips

Greetings folks!

Please forgive me, this is my first post here! Just recently purchased a 15 SHO and while working to replace the rear dome light bulb, a clip of some sorts went pinging out and has now disappeared into the abyss of the car. I looked for over 30 minutes going over every inch of the interior and I have been unable to find it.

To make matters worse, at the same time one went flying into the cabin, the other went flying into the headliner. My Google-foo is weaksauce because I am unable to find the clips. I don't need the whole assembly, just the two seemingly metal clips that hold it into the headliner. The large plastic ones are still attached and are ok.

If anyone has the part number, I would be forever grateful for your help! I've been unable to locate it on Ford Parts and numerous other sites.

Well I got the one out of the headliner but no idea where the other one went in the cabin Checked all of the standard places and no one has anything and about all I can find is a complete light replacement. Google-foo is weak!

Looking for the metal clips that are visible in this image to the left of the electrical connection and to the right of the QR code. So far I've found an entire assembly on FPG but not the actual clip.

I have one and it's holding it up but I don't want to leave it up without the second one long term.

That's my question. Do you have a Ford parts person that will dig for/with you? I have one or 2 local folks I use and we dig through the diagrams.

I dont per say. Just the dealership but the parts guy I’ve dealt with when getting a spare key and nav chip has been helpful. I ended up just buying a whole new unit. It appears theres no way to get the clips by themselves.

Stinks.
