Im going to attempt to make my own clear tails for my 2015 sho and i already know how to take off the ones that arent connect to the trunk. Just wondering if anyone knows any guides for the trunk mounted tails.

I have taken mine out, mine are the sho led lights the bolts are in the trunk, 3 I believe when taking it out pull evenly and perpendicular to the frame. Don't pry or twist. Mine are sealed - the folks with the police interceptor back lights can do more customizations. I did swap my backups to led.

I know there are sort of guides for baking them to separate the lens. No experience otherwise.

Remove trunk liner, remove all screws from the the inner lights and the chrome trim piece on the trunk, disconnect the rear view camera, use a plastic pry tool to pry the chrome trim piece from the outside of the inner lights and trunk. After the chrome piece is removed the inner lights will come out.

How about the long metal logo that connects then tails on the trunk? I have gotten the screws out but it seems like the large logo is blocking it from coming off

I didn't take the trim off however our backup camera is in that area.

I'm in a '10...

I used angled pliers on the inside of the trunk lid to squeeze the tabs holding the strip on. It worked much better for me than prying from the outside as it was easy and didn't warp anything making for an easy reinstall.
