I figured it out. Apparently it has to be rotated a 1/4 turn to come out AFTER the light is unplugged from the ballast. Another learning experience since it's my 1st Ford Taurus. The original bulb was a 6000k. The one I bought was a 43150 or something close to that nature in color. It looked different. So I'm returning the new bulb and exchanging it for another 6000k HID bulb. Once it's in im good to go! But the mystery as to why my driver side headlight ONLY will light up when I remote start my car. Something was wired wrong seeing that my car was involved in a minor collision on that side. Whoever rebuilt the car after didn't know what or how to put things back or knew how to blend the paint correctly. Is it a collar for the matching gray plastic on fixture that's it your right hand?
There are words on top of piece on your leg. May snap on and turn 90° after you have inserted fixture back into the headlight assembly.
