Can I Use An 89 Dis Module On A 92 Car? What Is The Difference Between 89 Dis And 90-95? Thanks

now im not positive so dont quote me, but i belive it would work. i think the difference is a slightly diffent shape plug. so you just have to cut off a little tab on the plug otherwise it wouldnt plug in. but other than that i think it should work fine.

yes, it will work, ive got a dis of a super coupe. Most DIS modules are the same. All Sho dis's are the same.

The only other 6-cylinder Ford DIS system is found in the 3.8L SC, that's why the DIS module is the same as the SHO. All other Ford DIS modules are for either 4 or 8-cylinder applications and will not work on the SHO.

So All Dis Modules On Gen 1 And Gen 2 Are Interchangable?
