Anyone thought of tapping the secondary runners for a direct port type wet system? Also, I'm not sure how motors react to N20 exactly, but how much could you use on an internally stock SHO so long as you had sufficient fuel delivery to keep it from leaning out? So, under ideal conditions and correct AFR, how much can we handle? Has it ever been pushed?

Well from what I've read someone said they after 150 shot the SHO really did not see more gains from a bigger shot. This was on a wet setup too. Myabe this would be different if u have a higher compression, race gas, and some 100 octane???

Hmmm, so no REAL benefit of doing the Direct port work since you can rn what...100-125 dry? With a good Fuel pump.

I think I'll be ok with a 100 shot Dry, as opposed to the 125 Wet. The HP difference is not worth the cost difference to me.

Plus I know a guy that can hide the kit nicely for me...hehehe

Also goes to personal preference. I wont run a dry kit on anything. But thats just me.

I can respect that. The SHO isn't my daily and I eventually want to put a 3.2 in it. So if this motor goes shoboom I get to learn how to do an engine swap first hand. I don't want it to happen anytime soon but I know the possibility is there.

Well, someone finally picked up my manifold.

Here's a few pictures:

Everyone and their dog has a bottle in the truck, but not many have the stones to back it up front.

Anyone notice anything odd about this install?

We installed a NOS Window Switch to run the system. The Window Switch looks at TP volts and engine RPM and only runs the nitrous system if the throttle is at WOT and the engine is between 3500 and 6500rpm. There are some other cool features about the switch that are not clearly outlined in the destructions. There is an extra driver for a second stage, so you could actually have a second stage controlled by a second window.

Well guys and gals, I just won a ZEX dry kit off fleabay. I will be running a 55 or 75 shot until I can get a 155lph fuel pump. At that time I will be running a 100 shot. I am going to look into "accessories" in the coming weeks such as a purge kit and window switch.

Sorry for the thread jack but hey, it's my thread!

Could you be sneaky and run the lines and nozzles underneath the runners? Maybe paint them black? I must have a really "sleeper" mindeset though...

It's not in my car.

As odd as that is, that's not what I'm looking for.

I only had this one for 10yrs or so. There's no reason we couldn't build another one for you...

Maybe that the fuel and N20 are reversed?

Now you want to see something really wrong?

Now let's look under hood ....

Hard to find a place for the ZEX control box.
