Diff Roll pin size

So im starting to look into welding my diff. Ive researched and found all the ways that its been done and and starting to understand how im gonna do mine. BUT i cant seam to find the size of roll pins that lock the Diff pins in, that everyone says that need to be replaced. Any ideas on what size they or where to get them AND OR part numbers???

I took mine at Fastenal , no idea on its size though. I had to buy 2 bags to get it right.

How necessary are they to replace? since the pins are going to be welded aren't the roll pins going to become pointless? And thanks for the advice.

Its an extra insurance , for the price , its well worth it.

Make sure you replace them all , even if they look fine. I replaced one that looked fine , but it was snapped in the middle when I took it out.
