Im in the middle of a huge project on my sho and once again parts availibility is killing me. Ford got me the roll pins that retain the diff pins but said the actual pins are not available. Does anyone know if theyre available? I just want to freshen the diff so it lasts for at least a couple good burnouts.

You would think if you're all the way down in the trans that you would realize that burnouts are just going to make you pull the whole damn thing apart again! Save yourself some grief and avoid the burnouts.

PS I go to Penn State and if you ever need any help, I'm fairly close.

sho nut said in the video that if you dont have the money, at least do the pins. That is what i want to do. I know about the Quaife lsd but i am in college working part time at a garage for 8 dollars an hour. I just want to know if i can buy these pins anywhere. If not, it goes in with out a rebuild.

SHO NUT advised me of their obsolete status in Nov of '01 (Diff pin kit, p/n E9DZ4211A), when I was purchasing a few kits from him. I checked inventory and found the last 2 kits at a dealer in WA and grabbed those up as well. So yes, they are obsolete unless you get lucky and find a dealer that has one or 2 on the shelf.

Just curious, what was the p/n on the roll pins you got from Ford?
