nothing.

new fuel filter, cleaned mAF (Have NOT bought the cleaner yet) removed intake checked back plug holes and 2 of the plugs which looked just like all the other plugs. un plugged the battery overnight and then started it.

same nasty sound/smell lack of power


i guess i will get MAF cleaner and see if that is the magic spray for SHO's

any more ideas are welcome.

well i may posted too soon.

on my drive down town to leave it and hope someone steals it, it only hiccuped 2 times those 2 were both before it got up to operating temp. maybe it was the battery un plug that got rid of the 10 different codes that are usually stored in my ECU. maybe not.

how would a clogged fuel filter make it smell of fuel? why would it not present as a lean mix and killing because of lack of fuel versus the apparent rich mix i was smelling last week?

Well the smell of fuel up front could be your Fuel Purge Solenoid, have you checked that out yet?

yeah that little POS valve is only about 5k miles old and the regulator seems to be regulating leak free
