Hot Rod, Surely you jest. (I hope you don't mind if I call you Surely) Think about the air flow in something like that during the firing process. The air must move to the left, left, right, left, left, right. I can imagine that it would create some turbulence.
Now you could mount that throttle body on the end of the surge tank where the crossover tube normally attaches, since the velocity stacks of the secondaries are very close to, and pointed directly at, the flat side of the surge tanks. There was a guy in Tucson that had a setup like that for his MGB.
