Not to start a pro/con of clear taillights but do you really think they'd look good on a SHO? I don't get these things - I think they look terrible. But, I feel the same about blackouts and clearly I'm in a minority..

I wouldn't say that, John. Blackouts don't really work for me either (only in some instances). If you rice out a SHO, or even a taurus for that matter, I think it is a disgrace to all taurus owners. It's like those kids who rice out their neons. I have sidemarkers on my car, too, but I claim NO responsibilty for them. The previous owner installed them.

Thanks John, I've been eating too many potatos lately. A little rice in the diet is always good!

Hyper Imports on Dexter St. in Central Falls, RI told my cousin they will retrofit his current tail lights on his SHO to be GenIII Altezza's. I'll let you'll know what the quality of there job, if its good my SHO will have Altezza too

Remember the 1990 Cadillac Brougham rear wheel drive? Its rear lights had a white lens on the outside and a red on the inside making the light appear red when on and the lens white when off. I think that was a brilliant idea. I think the '93 Buick Regal Coupe had it too.
Can anyone make anything like that?

Hey, I think black-outs look like dung, but I dig clear taillights.

Ricing is one thing...those side markers are more German/Euro than rice.

The Photoshop'd taillights are more of a euro-style than true clear tails.

I'm kind of a fence-rider here. I dig the side marker lights, and I'm going to install them, eventually. I don't like euro-tails, but I like completely clear tails.

Hey, it's all good. To each his own.

I need to find a fab shop here in town so I can get quotes on making me/others custom stuff for my car.

I made some on photoshop also. I don't really like the "altezza" style. But I like the ones that are just opaque red and white. These are'nt too bad because they are tinted black, but still, don't really look too nice.

Thats more of what I was looking for before my Black died. though the Smoke/Black tails with the red and clear centers would look sweet on a black SHO.
