Does anyone know if the cruise servo's are interchangeable between the GenI and GenII's? My cruise is out and the servo does not seem to hold any vacuum. I looked at a parts only 89 and the servo looks the same except for the bracket. If anyone has EASILY changed this bracket please let me know and I will attempt to use it.

i was under the impression the cruise servos were not the same. i thought the gen I's had vaccum actuated servos or something like that and that we had electronic ones in the gen 2, i know mine is electronic. i could be wrong but i *thought* that was the case. if it looks the same though i would imagine you could exchange them, the bracket shouldnt be too big a deal.

I'm not sure which part of the system you're referring to that is electronic, however I believe they still use vacuum, don't they?

im sorry, then i might have been mistaken, because the newer ones i thought were electronically controlled, just an electronic servo that wound up the cruise throttle cable because mine doesnt have any vacuum lines coming in or out, only an electrical harness and a secondary throttle cable. anyone else know? thanks!
