Whats up guys and girls. Glad to finally have my SHO here in Italy. After I get my new Pioneer touch screen navigation combo installed and all my new suspension components installed I will be making some nice road trips across Italy. Average speed over here is 160-190kmh (100-120mph) and speeding speeds in excess of 120+mph. My dilemma is this, the factory ford cruise control only sets at 85-95mph. Is there a way to override the topspeed on the cruise control for long trips? Makes going hundred of miles much quicker.
Any Ideas. Kinda nice to use cruise on those long trips. Used to use it all the time on my MD to OH and OH to FL trips.

We've hacked the Main ECU. Can we hack the cruise ECU? Or can you bypass manually?

What?

I've had the cruise set at speeds higher than that...

Or have I?

Could have sworn I have... in excess of 115.

IIRC, It will let you set it higher but will slowly back down to 85-95mph. IIRC that is. Haven't tried it lately but will very soon.

I read this post this morning and when I had to take a little freeway run this afternoon I tried to set the cruise at 120 and it works and stays in my 90.
