Cruise Control deactivator switch part #

I would like to know the part number for the deactivator switch, that is located under the brake master cylinder.

Also, is it possible to unplug the wires and twist them together, while pluging the switch (I've read that the fluid will leak out) so the brake light will operate, while I try to locate a switch somewhere.

Any tips on how this problem can be repaired (without going to the expensive mechanic) will be
appreciated.
