Doing the crankshaft seal on my 94 today, and I was wondering if you have to take off the timing belt to do the job. I already have the sepentine belt taken off, along with the front timing cover, passenger side wheel, and splash cover.

Yes, the lower timing gear has to come off.

Follow the procedure for replacing a timing belt. You really want to make sure the timing marks all line up properly.

While you're in there, check for corrosion on your crank position sensor and see if your water pump is beginning to leak from the weep hole.

During reassembly, make sure the timing pulley is seated all the way, make sure the crank pulley seats fully against the timing pulley and torque the bolt properly. Correct spec is about 120 lb*ft, but the accepted procedure is to torque it until you succumb to a hernia. :)

Thanks. Also, there were 4 other seals/gaskets that came in the Fel Pro box. One looks like it goes to some kind of oil inlet/return line, and one of them looks like it might go on the front of the oil pan?? But the other two I have no idea about. Any ideas?

Take a look at either http://shosource.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=61_43_44&products_id=174 or http://www.rcmautomotive.com/id4.html

These are complete lower sets, so they will have front and rear parts listed, but maybe you can figure out which is which from the description. The one with three holes inline is the oil pickup tube gasket, the long thin one is the front oil pan seal.

Or, post pictures of what you have. Someone will recognize them right off the bat.
