Can't get the thing off. Need to remove the lower timing case thats broken behind it as well as line up new timing belt.

Don't want to force anything and figured I'd come to the experts first. I have a small video trying to show where I'm at with this...

Well youtube is taking forever and wont let me upload the video.

Bring a timing cover screw with you. The one you rent likely will not have long enough screws. Get two from the local hardware store (cost maybe 30 cents) a good 3 inches long or so.

Well what they gave me was a harmonic dampener puller kit, which im not sure is right but might do the same thing? Here is a pic:

How do I use this thing? Lol.

EDIT: P.S. wish I would have known about the timing cover screws before hand haha. Will ones from my upper case work just as well or do they need to be longer? I'm assuming those are to be used for the 2 small holes on the pulley, put 1 on each side of the middle hole in the tool, and use that big puller bolt in the middle, slowly turn to remove?

Step 1: Find the bolts that fit the holes on the pulley
Step 2: Put cone shaped thingy in where the crank bolt would be(end of crank)
Step 3:If you have a metric tap set, run the correct tap through the holes in the crank pulley before continuing on this step. If you don't...ignore it and continue....Use the bolts with large washers to bolt the puller to the pulley(visible side in picture above facing you). While counting revolutions, turn each bolt in at least 5 FULL 360° turns...turn BOTH of them the SAME amount.
Step 4: thread the push bolt(the big one) through the puller and make sure the cone is there on the end of it.
Step 5: If you are still reading, let someone else do it.

The timing case bolts are too small for that hole does anyone know a bolt on the car that will fit it or what size that hole is? (two small holes on side of crank bolt hole on crank pulley)

One fits into the hole and I can spin it a few times then it gets pretty hard to do. Probably gets to the 2nd set of threads on the bolt. I'm just too cautious I guess but this probably is the right ones? As long as it latches in and takes hold, yes?

I got the pulley off. In the picture of the tool kit, the ones in the bottom left corner worked. The 3 silver ones, but only needed 2. They were a tad too big but they still worked (kind of pinched the threads on the kit bolts but dont tell the zone). Pulley is now off and I'm merely awaiting parts. Thanks to everyone who has helped me this past week through this learning process.

p.s. special thanks to 93rev2sev for all the great information and help, as well as the tool instructions. He's been on like all 5 of my recent threads lol.
