MY car dies once it is warmed up and i can't start up for about 15 min so I ran the codes and it said code 14. also when it happens the tach dies but I can still turn the steering wheel so the motor is still turning for about 30 seconds and then every thing shuts down. is this still the CPS and is code 14 also refering to this.

Code 14 does point to the profile ignition pickup (PIP) sensor. Otherwise known as the crankshaft position sensor. The best source for the Wells SU242 sensor is AutoZone or AutoZone.com for $42.99. It's the labor to install it that runs up the bill. Do you need the timing belt changed?
