Hey guys, and gals. I have a crack in my coolant over flow resevior. It's a very small, barely visible crack, but it's getting worse, and today there was a puddle under my car from it. I've been looking around for one, but there are no SHO's in the junk yards around here. Here is the question....could an ATX over flow resevior be made to work? They seem to be a dime a dozen. Has everybody ever done this? Also, if anybody knows where I can get a good resevior for a gen 2 MTX, let me know. :thumb:

Thanks in advance!

Loctite plastic epoxy will fix the crack. The over flow tank is not pressurized. Just rough it up with some sand paper before applying and let cure for 24 hours.

I've used this method before. It will fix it right up especially if it is that small of a crack.

Another option would be some stuff called Plastic Weld. You can get it at NAPA for $6, and it's strong as ****. It's even murky in color, just like the bottles. :)
