So I am working on my Taurus interceptor sedan doing an engine replacement I have gotten the motor in and everything but I went to add coolant and noticed a drip around the coolant hose to the turbos I replace/repaired that and now have leak at the thermostat house where the water outlet pipe meets up with the thermostat housing and I’m not sure why any insight or advice would be helpful to me so I can get this car back on the road

Replace the gasket, many of us don't order a new one, and reuse. I don't trust my eyes to inspect it. Also thread sealant is required on the bolts. That's not optional according to ford.

Also pay attention to the top radiator hose. It has a plastic junction that is prone to crack and leak.

Consider installing new hoses?
Now I was very disappointed that Ford has discontinued the heater hoses and I could NOT find any after market versions. But I did replace the big upper and lower hoses and as posted above mine leaked at that plastic union.

Anyone know where to get heater hoses?

Is the plastic cracked? Is there a rubber o-ring inside where hoses/connectors meet? On my Cpyote it has all manner of crappy hose connections with rubber o-rings that get hardened and don't seal properly over time. I've been able to get a pick and just replace those.
