I have a coolant leak at the metal fitting where the upper inside hose from the coolant tank attaches to a metal fitting near the intake or head. The metal fitting has a crack and is spraying a fine stream of coolant. Is this a replaceable part? Where does the coolant go from this location?

Those are just hose barbs screwed into the head. Normal NPT threads, 3/8" x 3/8" hose IIRC.

The water passes through the head and into the Y fitting then into the tank.

I restricted this line with some smaller line inserted into the 3/8" OEM hose. All that coolant just goes across the top of the head and then into the tank, instead of going down the block around cylinders 1 and 5. There has been speculation on my part why some have overheating problems on cylinder 5 as this may be the cause.
