Can anyone point me in the right direction of a coolant hose list. I haven't spent enough time on here since the changeover to find it in a search. Either the search engine sucks or it's me?

I'm looking for the two hoses that connect to the heater core on an mtx. thanks

Heater core to pipe-1
L shaped hose: 5/8" x 3/4" - this appears to be what matches the pipe (3/4") and the heater core connection (5/8")
Dayco 86099
Gates 18079
NAPA 10071 (crosses from Dayco 86099)
NAPA 10079 (crosses from Gates 18079)

Heater core to pipe-2
S shaped hose: 5/8" both ends
Dayco 86121
Gates 18774
NAPA 10774

I want to replace the two attaching to the core, every other hose was replaced.

To go from the pipes to the heater core ******* on the firewall, you need a NAPA 10079 and a NAPA 10774. Is that what you're asking?
To go from the heater hard pipe that has the CELO switch on it to the block, you need NAPA 10080, Dayco 87612, or Gates 18060; you won't find that one inb a catalog.

I just had trouble finding the info because of the new layout and search engine.

It was your post that I found from '08. I've been here since '02, and it's too bad a lot of information got deleted years ago. I wouldn't be the technician I am today if it wasn't for owning a sho and this forum.

I'll be buying a set of those hoses if I go through the spare motor I have and don't sell the money pit.

^^^^^ This.
It would be really good to have a thread where available parts can be listed. This could be the "Hose Section".
With the talent behind the desk in a lot of places, you really need a part number if you want a part.

I don't have a lot of luck with the search engine here, often I can't find threads when I know most of the thread title, or the author. So it becomes a very long search.

It should be a sticky, the hard to find ones are listed. Although one time I bought a lower ac delco hose on closeout from rockauto and it was the wrong diameter on the w/p end. The shape was exact though.

I agree with the talent behind the counter. I always call with a part number, but nowadays I order from RA/amazon.

I used to do a lot of side work and people screw up. Not to mention the quantity on hand is wrong sometimes.
