I'll be flying solo since it's probably too late to meet up with anyone. I'll be taking 95 north from New Haven into Mass...so if anyone wants to make any last minute attempts to drive together call my cell 203-305-4998

Heh if the award was going to stay non-SHO Ford, there would be very small competition for me. Chris B's ranger (if he is coming), and Chop's SLO are the only 2 that come to mind :****:

damn it! Oh well I gotta work. You guys have fun tomm

Alex, if you're taking 91 into MA, and going east on the pike, 95shoma and myself are meeting at the ludlow plaza (eastbound) on I90 turnpike at 8:30. Be there at 8:30 if you can, and we can all cruise up together.. Hope to see you there! Tomorrow is gonna be a sweet time, can't wait! :thumb:

It is just past the ludlow exit on the pike. I hope to see some people there, itl be a nice roll up to the event!

I got a few pictures of the cars there today (Edit: Not as many as I thought now that I've looked :bonk: ). I'm going to upload them as soon as I can and you can all take a look. BTW I'm going to leave each picture in the format they come out, which is about 1.2 megs per picture. I'll give the links when they are up. :D

EDIT: Check out the NESHOC pic link in the SHO Related forums. The couple pictures I took are up there now.

I'd like to thank everyone who attended, and congratulate those who took home awards! Hopefully, we can make this a more frequent kind of event for the club.

Aside from my wife Linda who helped out with a bunch of things that kept her away from socializing, I'd also like to personally thank Mike Morrett, the white Gen 2 owner from NY who arrived early, helped set up & stayed late to help tear down as well. It was much appreciated Mike!

Finally, thanks to everyone who pitched in with the costs, and to those who decided to either join NESHOC or renew their memberships with this event. Between the food & shirt sales, there was $210 chipped in today. You guys keep proving that SHO folk are a special breed - thanks much.

Tha Winnahs:
G1 - Mel Stimmel
G1 Runner-Up (sorry, I missed who that was, car #8 I think? Will correct here if someone can clue me in)

G2 - Chris Oliveira
G2 Runner-Up - Eric Steidinger

G3 - Gianni Richio
G3 Runner-Up - Kirk Doucette

Non-SHO - Chris Olcott
Non-SHO Runner-Up - James Pappas

Notes:
Mikey likes blondes.
My grill sucks compared to my work's.
It helps if you wash & detail your car before it sits in the sun at a billion degrees.
Opal Frost. Mmmmm.
Moonlight Blue. Mmmmm.
Black Popo Grilles must be mandatory or something.
Alex is trying to look like Tony. Scary. ;)
You guys are some of the best SHO-related club members in the world.

There are some big things planned for NESHOC over the next couple of years, so stay with us! The '05 Autocross Schedule has already been set, we're going to have more of the road course dates listed, dyno days, drag nights, and there's some pending big news, should things come together.

I have a couple of pics I took, but will likely upload those tomorrow. I gotta go wax my scalp. ;)

We need to start a movement to get NESHOC name tags for future events!!! :jab:

Yeah, I had thought of that, but it might be one of those good ideas that doesn't work, cuz I don't know about most of you guys, but I'm not one for wearing a nametag, no matter how good of an idea it is ;)

Kevin, your area is boring? Haha, with the exception of Fred's 2, I believe I was the only other SHO from RI, and it's not like RI is that far away...then again, we are talking about Rhode Islanders.. ;)

I'd just wanted to post and say that I give sho--ripper's (Chris's) idea of a drag racing day at Lebanon Valley a BIG :thumb:

The plan was to rent the track out for a day for NESHOC right? I definitely be willing to chip in a chunk of $$ to make that happen!

And if it happens in say September I'll probably be ready to make some smokin' runs. :burn_out:

By the way...

I think I speak for all attendees when I thank Fred for all the hard work putting this event together, as well as the exceptional job he did cooking up some great eats! Without him and Linda, this event not only would have not been nearly as enjoyable, it probably would never have happened!

Thanks again Fred and Linda! :D

Fred, I can't thank you enough for everything you went through to put this together. I had a great time and met tons of new faces. This club has potential for big things and we need to keep up these kinds of events. To everyone, thanks for all the compliments and the votes, but in the end we all know that doesn't really matter, what counts is that we were all together and showing off our wonderful cars... I had a great time meeting every single one of you, that's the biggest reward of all.

It was good seeing the gang again. And Chris, your car is gorgeous! It's good to see all the SHOs and how well they're being kept up. I look forward to attending future events as well coordinated as this.
