Anyone attempt something of this nature? I'm in need of axles, looking at '94+ spindles, and want ABS for a rear brake upgrade (13" on the front with 10.2 in the back just seem... unworthy  ). Other than the 4 ABS sensors, wiring, and the ABS control module, axles what else must be changed? What would be required for the rear spindles? Hubs w/ rings? Not quite sure how the ABS works out back.

TIA! :thumb:

EDIT: Forgot to add the ABS res. tank. Would the non-ABS master work or would a ABS equipped version be required?

the current complete brake system will have to be removed. all new hubs & axles & lines. Wire harness added/tapped into. WHY!!! NO ABS & NO airbags are the best reasons to own an '89 or 2! LOL Lighter, quicker & most unique SHO!!

Yeah, I wasn't so much looking forward to the OE ABS system, but since I can't find anything for a 4 channel system, I'm scrapping this idea. I HIGHLY doubt the ABS system will make the car that much heavier! But unique? Sheesh, I sure do love the 89! :)
