Compass mirror

Anyone ever install a rear view mirror with the digital compass from a GM into their SHO?

At the shop where I work we install an aftermarket compass temp mirror in all kinds of cars, all there is too it, is a constant 12v, an accessory and you'll need to run the wire and included thermometer somewhere outside the car.

Did it have a compass? If so, was the display color a match? Blue/green display? What did you tap into, the sunroof power?

I have a mirror from a Tahoe with built in compass, but it has 7 pins on the backend of it.

When it was installed on the Tahoe, it had two wires going to it (that went on two pins).

Which pins do I send power too?

Nevermind, I figured it out.

Looks like I got myself a mirror with compass & auto-dim, now to just hi-jack power from the sunroof motor and I'll be all set.
