I just replaced the front oxygen sensor with Bosch p/n 15716 and I still get the 176 code. The weatherpack is clean and tight, does anyone have any ideas?

Did you bring the O2 sensor up to operating temp before running the ER test?

You also might have a wiring harness problem or a vacuum leak on that bank's intake.

I just finished exploring the big end of the tach to try and make the light come back on, it was at or above operating temp. Does anyone know in hg" what a good reading is for a healthy motor?

If you didn't see the CHECK ENGINE light come on again, you may be in good shape. Since the 176 code is only display as a memory code, you may just need to clear the codes. Rerun the KOEO test and pull the jumper when the CE light is flashing the codes.
