Climate Control Fan

I have recently been getting an intermitent problem with my climate control fan in a 94 ATX. In the automatic temp position the system will be operating properly then suddenly the blower fan surgres to full high then normal then full high back to normal. This surge will last for 1-20 seconds occur several times and then will go away. Any thoughts? Thermostat?

I believe your problem lies in the BCM (blower control module). Try turning the EATC to off and see if it continues to blow on high out the defrost...when it acts up.

It is located under/behind the glovebox. Easy to change out. Fairly cheap to purchase I believe. I got a different one for mine out of a lincoln with a EATC.

Search for BCM, and you will learn much more..
