Clicking cd player fix?

My cd player goes through this long process of clicking whenever I put a cd in or tell it to start playing or eject or whatever. It will usually finally start working, and sometimes it will work fine. I read a post that said something about cleaning some micro switches that tell the unit that there is a cd in the player. Anybody know where these are or how to clean them? Thanks!

I thought I would join in on the fun and try it for my "clicking player" tonight. It worked like a charm! Thank you for the advice.

Yea, worked good for me also, although now my cd player will randomely spit out the cd when I tell it to stop playing and some times spit it out as soon as I put it in. Oh well, not nearly as bad as that darn clicking!
