cleaning your MAF

i want to know how you clean a MAF i looked at all the posts and didnt see anything if you could let me know what to use it will be a lot of help, thanks

you have to find a cleaner that says it is safe for MAF sensors. A few intake cleaning products are safe, can't remember brands though. Then just hose it down with that stuff. Never scrub the sensor with anything

just get a can of electrical parts cleaner and spray the snot outta it.

The same company that sells the Electrical safe cleaner sells an actuall MAF cleaner. IIRC, it runs about 8 bucks. Its in a black can, and says MAF cleaner, or something to that extent. I have yet to try it, as it just came out not too long ago. But i was using the the electrical safe stuff before (made by the same company as the maf cleaner) with no ill effects, just as many others have.
