So that race was on sat. april 26 th?
I have heard about it through several people that actually race in the circuit brackets.
The rules are similar to the 4 cylinder enduro.
When i heard about the 6 cylinder, i thought to myself WOW what a SHO would do in that race against any other 6 cylinder

The race was won by Brian Jenks in the #9 Dodge Intrepid (3.5L) which is part of my race team, run by my partner Brian Jenks.

Officially, the race was won by Dale Leonard in the #10 Buick Regal (3.8L), however, we protested the results and won.

Brian had taken the lead on lap 8 and had nearly a lap on the field when the caution came out at lap 11. Due to a transponder on lap 6, Brian appeared to be in 6th, but he was actually about the lap the field.

When we reviewed this with the officials in the booth after the race they acknowledged their error and gave Brian the winner's check. Because we aren't regulars at K-Zoo, we elected not to make a big fuss out of changing the official standings.

As an aside.. this was the most professional track and best run track I have raced at.. Gary Howe and the folks at Kalamazoo Speedway should be commended for the great job they do there. First class all the way.

Additionally.. our home track rules (Springport Motor Speedway) give us the ability to prepare more of a race car, rather then the cyber stocks enduroish rules.. so we had a competitive advantage.

This series should really take off at K-Zoo.. I think the fastest car a person could put out there would be a small bodied car like a Cavalier, Shadow or Prelude.

93rev2sev, Jim's coming out Tuesday night to finish dropping the motor in.

I am recalling our conversation about the Y-Pipe and the flexible exhaust to by-pass the bent piping.

Can you reiterate how you think we should cut & splice that.

I've been thinking about that lower control arm mod you mentioned also.. I picked up a good arc welder today, i thinking about going for that.. what do you think ?

I'm watching the weather channel because I want to shoot out to Milan tonight. I can come by after...

Or I can come out tomorrow...tonight is more convenient, though.

Either way...If you are available tonight, let me know.
