Hey guys,

I just ran my codes and got both a 211 and 214. Occassionally, although more frequently now, when the car is cold, it starts to buck and the rpms go to zero after i have turned the car off then tried to turn it back on. Takes a bit, but it starts, but the tack is at 0. It runs, warms up, then is fine. I checked connections to the DIS and the grounds, and they seem ok. Could both sensors be going, or is it just the CID? Any thoughts? I'm having a 60k done in a couple weeks, just want to make sure i don't get stranded before then.

I would replace the CID sensor first. Classic failure symptoms.

A CPS will probably be needed later, however, the CID is easy to replace now.

Too coincidental. I would check the ground path and connectors to the DIS module. Are those 14mm bolts tight on the intake's balance tube?
