Hey what do you guys think of the centerline rpm wheels for a SHO?
RPM Weights
17" 13.51 lbs
18" 14.51 lbs
19" 15 lbs

1200 lb load rating????? Might work fine in the rear, but the front needs more than that in the plain 'ol Slo configuration. Not on my SHO. And what's this 42mm rear spacing stuff? I'm not sure I want to by wheels from an outfit that does not know what "offset" is.

When I can afford it I will be getting these in 17X7 size for my SHO along with Wilwood brakes. Kaoticsho got these on his car back in August and unless his opinion has changed, he loves them. I'm sure he'll chime in here with his opinion.

The 42mm offset with a 225 or even possibly a 235 wide tire should be fine with a Gen II. I had 225 on a 7.0" wide 42mm offest rims on my '95 with no problems.

We had a very long discussion on TechSHO about these rims last week. The load rating issue is of some concerning, since the front axle GVW of a SHO is over 2400 lbs.

I have had the RPM's with the "black pearl" option on my car for over two months now. I was assured by Centerline that their rims would handle the weight and stresses of my 94 mtx. Recently, I contacted Centerline again and again asked if they would be safe on my vehicle. They told me that they would be safe and that the load rating stated is very under rated.

If you want to see them on my car go to:

They cost $280 each. I went through Discount Tire to get them. It took 4 weeks for them to be made in black pearl.

F, just showing my "silly" side.

Holy crap J, what were the wheels that were on the car before the last set -during the SC install? I love the look of those pistons too!

The Centerline RPM's that I purchased recently are on the 94 mtx that I acquired early part of this year. I have Team Dynamics "Super Touring" style powdercoated white rims on the SC 93.
The previous set of wheels, on the 94 mtx were TSW EVO's......are you confused yet...I am...hehe
