I went out to go to the bank at lunch and my SHO would not start. It turned over strong like normal but would never catch and start. I have noticed that it takes a little longer than I think it should to start here lately. I know it is not the battery or it would not turn over as easy as it does. Went back out later and looked around for anything loose under the hood. Tried it again for ***** and giggles and it started right up. Could this be the Crank Sensor problem. If so I would like to try to fix it if it is as easy as I have read. Which side of the car is it on? Passenger or driver side.
Ideas or suggestions are welcomed guys.

My crank sensor went bad and this is what my car did. Would crank over strong but never even acted like it wanted to catch.

since it was random like that it probably is the cps. Also if you said it takes a a while to start up thats usually an indication that it needs a 60k:thumb:

Dead cam sensors have been reported to cause the car not to start for a few tries.

Well this finally happened again, but this time it would not start back up at all no matter how many times it was tried.
Took the front right wheel off, the front part of the fender liner as well, and replaced the cam sensor. All that was needed was a 10mm socket and a phillips screwdriver for the fender liner. Started right up. Having done this repair now this way, I probably could have done it by turning the wheel to the right and just lifting the bottom flap on the fender liner but oh well it works again.
Just and update FYI is all.
