Hi again. As some of you may know, my car has been dead in a garage 200 miles away for some time now, under my father's close, personal supervision. Well, as luck would have it, i think he may have found a way to bring the SHO out of its long coma. Apparantly, there is an eye connector, running off of the main positive battery cable just dangling loose right by the (brand new) starter. Now, i suppose this wouldn't be a question at all if i was home to work on it, but my dad would like very specific instructions as to where this connectior is supposed to go. Any landmarks or pictures (if you're willing to be that nice!) would be a great help. Thanks a lot guys. thumbs_u

Uh....this may be a long shot but, do you think it's possibly the MAIN POWER SUPPLY for the car/starter?

It would make a whole lot of sense, but like i said...I'm not there to look at it, the car is 200 miles away, and i'm just going by how my dad described it to me--so don't rag on me too hard. :p I'm really just looking for a specific location of where it connects to--i'm trying to fix my car over the phone, so the more descriptive the directions are, the faster i can get my SHO back on the road.

I agree with slosho. It sounds like the main power supply. This would sit on top of the starter in a metal bracket. Ask your dad if there are any wires running from the starter. If not there is your problem.

Thanks for the help guys. Sounds like that could be the root of my problems. I'm finally going home to take a look at it tomorrow night, so i'll keep you updated! thumbs_u
