car running rich?

on my 92 SHO, I think it's running a little rich. when I bring the revs up, black smoke comes out the exhaust. I looked inside my tailpipes, they are black. I did timing belt/plugs/wires/O2 sensors/CPS 30,000 miles ago. the car runs mint. gas mileage is about 15-18 all types of driving. I have no check engine light on (the light does work). any idea what to look at or should I just leave well enough alone. car runs smooth all the way up to 6 grand with plenty of power, just smokes sometimes.

Common SHO thing the computer is set up Farly rich to protect the engine. Try a search on this as there are many people out there with the same thing. Including me.

You got a slight carbon problem there buddy.

Get some full system fuel treatment. Dont buy that STP crap, you might as well just **** in the gas tank.
