maybe i missed it but what MY? 2010-2012 and 2013+ are considered two different generations by the sho crowd.

how are you deciding on whether its running rich? by fuel smell from exhaust, mpg, ..." on startup it will run rich until it goes into closed loop. as mentioned above, black soot is normal on vehicles running lower E fuel. if you have e15 in your area, try that and see if the soot clears up.

since you don't use your vehicle much, i would suggest at least doing weekend italian tuneups. no fossil fuel vehicle is truly ecofriendly until it is a driven a good amount at cruising speeds. the intake valves tend to carbon up and cause rough running, in addition.

if you want to try a fuel injection cleaner, make sure it is gdi specific. what you get at the pump is not gdi friendly, it is old school. bg and valvoline pro type cleaners are best for the DIYr.

make sure the intercooler and pcv valve are not contributing to the problem. clean all MAP and IAT sensors.

you can also clean off the exhaust tips and polish them with 0000 stainless wool pads/harley davidson chrome cleaning products/etc. then monitor results.

Primarily the fuel smell, if you stand by the car you’ll be walking away from it being pretty strong. Nothing is smelled from the cabin. Mpg is fine it averages about 17.
The soot was a concern but since it’s been mentioned that it’s normal that put me at ease.
The car has no check engine lights and once every 5-6 months I do add a fuel system cleaner.
I add only 91 octane.
