I'm a bit confused as to how to fasten the journal caps that press against the cam seals. If you turn one over you see the two screw holes as well as some grooves. The helms says to use rtv on these caps but of course I'm still confused. Am I supposed to fill those grooves with rtv or is that where the oil is supposed to flow by? First thoughts say that the screws would cut off oil and those grooves are for rtv but I'm not sure. I dont' want to restrict oil flow with the damn rtv. I've been on the driveway for over 50 days. I'm just trying to get things right once the rest of my crap gets here. How do I measure these things for wear anyways? What are the measurements?
