Does anyone carry a premade cable that goes between the alternator and the stater? Or happen to know the right length and a good gauge to work with? I'm gonna have to re-do the connection at the alternator on mine again (crap job by me the first time); but it looks like I will eventually need a new cable. I haven't been able to pull one up on any of the parts stores online lists.

I'm going to (for now) crimp the crap out of the cable onto another connector; would it be bad if I used some j-b weld around the outside to help it "stay" in there? I don't have any soldering equipment avaiable right now.

Any insight on this easy but pesky (damn it's cold outside!) problem is appreciated. TIA :)

www.delcity.net is a good place to get cable and lugs. For ~$50 you can get enough cable and terminals to re-wire the entire large wire primary system.
