Happens in my car, too. Only at highway speeds (70+ mph). I’ve found that by pressing up on the headliner near the sunglasses holder and holding the pressure seems to stop the noise (btw, no sunglasses in holder ). FWIW, I’m on my second windshield, as well.

So there is a trend. Replaced windshield, 70 ish speed, across numerous years.

Now someone just needs to tape over the seams one at a time or measure the gaps compared to one without glass replacement.

I removed and replaced the cowl cover. It snaps into the widshield.

Thanks for all the input! The trend SM105K mentions is curious because of the span of years. We know from that it's not just due to aging of plastic parts, seals, or tape. We also know from an earlier entry that the passenger visor appears to change the sound -- however, I generally drive with the visors down, and when I move the passenger side, it changes only a little in volume, not in direction. I'll check the A pillar and the headliner, but I suspect something down the defroster vent.

At one point I thought maybe a label inside the defroster vents had come partially unglued and was buzzing. Maybe I'll try the leaf blower and shoot air down there. I guess I am the only one with the noise that has original windshield.

I figured out where it was coming from on my car. It was the sun glasses in the sun glass tray up by the rear view mirror. Sure sounded like it was coming from the passenger side dash somewhere.

Just replaced my windshield last week now I have that same noise at the front of the dash. Drives me nuts. But mine does it from about 55-65mph.

Another with the buzz. I haven't pinpointed mine either, I assumed it was the wipers at speed. I'm pretty sure I have original windshield, second owner, Ford glass, and doesn't show in an Oasis report.

If you take a picture of the glass where it says carlite this can be decoded to determine the date.

Adding a new post to this thread. My 2013 SHO has a buzzing sound coming from the dash. Haven't replaced the windshield. The buzz does in fact seem to change with speed at times although buzzing is present at low speeds (unlike the posts above that state the noise starts around 70mph). Noise is driving me and my kids crazy. Afraid to take it to the dealer to say "please fix, here's a blank check".
